The Lodge of Honour Curry Club took a delightful detour from our usual curry night to enjoy the vibrant flavours of Thailand — and what better place than Thai Balcony in Bath, perched above the city with its charming riverside views.
The brethren of the Lodge of Honour were at the Annual Meeting on the 3rd of April 2025 for the Provincial Grand Lodge of Somerset at Webbington Hotel. The meeting was well attended and afterwards a big lunch was enjoyed by everyone.
A few big appointments at this meeting including the appointment of W Bro Michael John Greedy PAGDC as Deputy Provincial Grand Master, E Comp Neil R Hurcum PGSwdB as Deputy Grand Superintendent and a line-up of new Provincial Grand Officers for the ensuing year.
This is also the meeting where the Province confer Past Provincial Grand Rank and Promotions and we are proud to say that our Treasurer has been promoted this year to the rank of Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies.
The meeting was also attended by our Junior Warden, Tyler and Secretary.
The third Lodge of Honour Curry Club meet for 2025 took place on Friday, March 28, at the highly acclaimed Yak Yeti Yak restaurant on Pierrepont Street, in the heart of Bath. Following memorable evenings at Giggling Squid in January and The Pearl in February, the brethren eagerly embraced the vibrant and authentic flavours of Nepalese cuisine.
