Charity has always been at the heart of Freemasonry and a high priority is given to supporting charities and projects, both within the local community and nationally.

We hold five meetings in a year including one installation meeting from October to March, except in January.

Lodge of Honour is a dynamic and balanced lodge. It is a charitable organisation just like other masonic lodges that meet here Bath. We have a good mix of new and old members from different professions meeting with the sole purpose of helping others through charity and at the same time be a become a better person ourselves.

We hold five meetings in a year including one installation meeting from October to March, except in January. Apart from this, we hold the occasional informal social evenings near and around Bath as well as attend other Masonic meetings as guests in the Province of Somerset. Other times, we organise visits to neighbouring provinces.

Curry Club

The Lodge of Honour Curry Club goes beyond our appreciation and love for the cuisines but is an opportunity for the members, family and friends to get together in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

The club is not limited to members from the Lodge of Honour. If you are a member of other lodges, family or friends and enjoy a social evening with curry and a pint, get in touch.

Do you live, work and stay in or around Bath? Are you interested in becoming a Freemason?
Want to know if you are eligible to join?

Am I eligible?

Any man over the age of 21 may join regardless of ethnic group, political views, economic standing or religion although he is expected to have a faith. Students over 18 can join one of 73 Universities Scheme Lodges.

How Do I Join?

If you don’t know anyone who is a member and that you can talk to, or one which shares your interests, then your first step is to complete the initial sign-up form – we are the premier lodge in Bath.

Visit Us Planning on Visiting Us

All visitors are welcome.

If you plan on visiting us in Bath, our masonic hall, The Old Theatre Royal is open to the public.

Information on guided tours and access to the main hall, back stage, the chapel, the vault and the Edward Gayner Museum are available on The Old Theatre Royal Website. Tickets are available at the door, from Bath Box Office and Online.
