Double Initiates in Our November Meeting 2019

We are very fortunate to witness a double initiation and to welcome two of our newest members to the Lodge of Honour in our November meeting.

Apart from two Masters in the Chair from the other lodges in Bath, the occasion was attended by 8 further visiting brethren, including the Provincial Grand Master.

In this meeting we elected Auditors for the lodge accounts, WM and Treasurer according to provisions of Rules 105a and 112a and two members to server as Lodge Committee members. As for the Tyler, we will appoint him at the Installation meeting next month.

This was followed swiftly with a ballot for our initiates. As the ballot proved in their favour, we promptly conducted their initiation into Freemasonry, according to ancient custom. Officers of the Lodge of Honour supported the WM in delivering the NE Corner address, the Working Tools and the Charge.

As usual, before we end the November meeting, we proceeded to the festive board with two of our new initiates and a healthy number of visitors. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the visitors for their support in helping us welcome our new members.

We hope that our new members enjoyed the evening and will continue to enjoy Freemasonry many years to come.
