Installation Meeting 2021
As 2021 drew to a close, there was only one thing left for our lodge, the Installation meeting in December. With most of our members in the Acting roles, it is only natural that the new Worshipful Master officially appoints his officer for the ensuing year.
In our annual December Installation meeting, W. Bro. S Lingard took the Chair of King Solomon according to the ancient what promises to be another wonderful and productive year for our lodge.
W.Bro S Lingard is an active, enthusiastic, and much-valued W. Bro in the Lodge of Honour. He was a master in the Cockfosters Lodge No 6883 meeting at Great Queen Street in London. As well as his Craft career, he is a member of the 2nd Principal of Royal Sussex Chapter 53 in Bath, a Senior Overseer in Royal Cumberland Mark Lodge (time immemorial) in Bath and Marshall in St. Peter & St. Paul Rose Croix Chapter in Bath.
This would be his 4th year as a member of the Lodge of Honour. While initially a guest, he joint as a permanent member soon after. He held the Director of Ceremonies and Tylers positions in the past. As the Worshipful Master, he has plans for the forthcoming year with lectures, more social events and activities to introduce and encourage side degrees. He also has work cut out for him with three potential candidates in the pipe line.
The Lodge of Honour will be further strengthened under his mastership together with an amazing line-up of officers and wonderful members. It is safe to say that the lodge will have a wonderful year ahead.
Our next regular meeting won’t be until February but for now, we wish all members, friends and family a Happy Christmas and a Wonderful New Year.
