Provincial Fraternal Visit 2023, Lodge History & Explanation of the Tracing Board

At our March Regular meeting, we had a presentation of the history of our lodge during the war times, an explanation of the tracing board for our new lodge members and a visiting brethren from the province led by VW Bro Batley.

For our last meeting before we head into spring and summer, we have decided to break away from rituals and ceremonies and instead focus on the education aspects of freemasonry. Initially planned to include The Lecture of the First Degree of Freemasonry, we had to narrow the talk down to just the lodge history and explanation of the tracing board in the interest of time. Nevertheless, everyone went away with plenty of information to digest and think about.

Our Past Master, W. Bro Stanistreet studied the history of our lodge in during war times (1939 – 1945) and offer a presentation of his findings to our brethren and visitors. He talked about men between the age of 18  A compilation of this will be made available here
