UGLE Communications Academy in Somerset

Five members from the Lodge of Honour including a presenter attended the Communication Academy on the 31 July 2023 at Bath Masonic Hall. The event was attended by Lodge Communication Officers and members from all across the Province of Somerset.

It was an eye opening evening for everyone who attended. The presenter, Shaun B., Director of Communications shared insightful information and lessons learnt from the National Digital Marketing Campaign 2022. Marta Z., Communications Manager and FMT Editorial Manager shared useful tips and guidelines on the submission and publication of news articles to be shared on the UGLE blog and FMT magazine. And finally, our very own Shayan A., Communication Executive talked us through on the use of social media as a marketing tool to attract new members. The floor was then opened for questions from those who attended. In true masonic fashion, the event ended with drinks and a curry buffet dinner.
