Round Table Curry Club September 2023 at The Grand Eastern, Bath

We finally got into The Grand Eastern and were seated at a roundtable which makes it better to converse with one another, especially beyond your immediate neighbour. Food was a little slow but we had each others’s company.

After months of failed attempts to get a booking and to order their food to cater to events at the Masonic Hall, we finally got into The Grand Eastern in Bath. It was Curry Club’s first evening there and we weren’t disappointed. Well … maybe with the luke warm naan breads that we sent back to get them reheated. Otherwise, food was great, company was even better.

The Curry was also a chance for some of our potential members to ask questions and get some answers. Members of the Lodge of Honour were more than happy to oblige giving accounts of their own experience, reasons for joining and dispelling any false notion about Freemasonry.

We started a little late as a rehearsal was held at the Masonic Hall prior to curry this time around. Overall, it was another great evening for the Lodge and Curry Club, enjoyed by all members, guests and would be members.
