Lodge of Honour Team at the Provincial AGM in 2024
On Thursday, April 4, 2024, Lodge of Honour members including the WM, DC, ADC, Secretary and Tyler were at the Provincial Annual General Meeting. Held in Webbington Hotel near Axbridge, Somerset, it was a significant gathering of approximately 600 Freemasons from all over Somerset and beyond.
The assembly included members from every Lodge in the Province, marking a notable first in several years. Additionally, the event welcomed distinguished guests from 12 other Provinces. The Provincial Grand Lodge of Somerset’s Annual Meeting was led by R.W. Bro. Ray Guthrie, the Provincial Grand Master (PGM) for Somerset. He was supported by his 2023/24 Provincial Team, who were concluding their successful and enjoyable year of supporting the PGM in a busy schedule of events across Somerset.
The 2023/24 PGLS Team displayed exemplary commitment, hard work, and ritual performance, all done with a great sense of fun and good humor that was appreciated not only by the team members themselves but also by the Masters and Brethren of the numerous Lodges they visited. It was an exceptional year, witnessed in part by the incoming active Provincial Team, who are undoubtedly inspired to achieve or surpass this standard during their tenure.
